How to Control Diabetes

    Any kind of disease is highly undesired by the human body. It makes our healthy body suffer. It prevents us from performing our day to day activities. One of such disease is Diabetes. There can be a lot of ways various diseases can be cured if prevention is adhered to whenever it is required. Same is the case with diabetes. We can always try to gain control on this disease if we happen to know the necessary tips that can help prevent it. Given below are certain tips that can be an aid to our control on diabetes.
1. Keep a check on meat poultry and fish content in food.
2. Do not snack while cleaning or cooking
3. Try to eat meals at regular timings
4. Have breakfast daily
5. Share a single dessert
6. Eat large chunks of vegetable salad
7. Cook with less oil and butter
8. Take a glass of water 10 minutes before meal
9. Avoid watching TV while eating
10. Eat smaller meals
11. Use smaller utensils and spoons
12. Cut down portions of food you eat
13. Make less food look like more by serving in different ways
14. Do some physical activity regularly
15. Go out for walk very often
16. March while you watch TV
17. Go for lots of vegetables
18. Have low fat macaroni and cheese
19. Drink lots of water
20. Consume food with less sugar quantity
There can be a lot more different ways we can have reasonable control on diabetes. But it must be remembered that prevention is always better than cure and if we are able to stick to the above mentioned simple tips, there is no doubt that we can soon come over this disease and start living a healthier normal life. After all it requires just a little bit of commitment and dedication from our side
